The Chicas Project

So this has become my favorite show, putting Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends in a close second. I love The Chicas Project.

The fact that two Latinas have their very own show that's not about over-sexed women dancing around in skimpy clothes is a big deal in itself (to me anyway). These girls are basically just doing random things and having fun doing while doing them, and that's what makes the show all the more interesting.

Yes I watch Mun2 and I'm not Latino, but who really cares? The world is diverse, and I moreso diverse.

But anyway, the show is awesosm. The random humor, the spontanious topics, y of course, con un toque de la Dominicana, this show is everything I could ask for in television. Yasmin and Crash are so entertaining, but still so real and down-to-earth; and the fact that Yasmin spews "Dominicana" and everything that is Dominican (even though she's Colombian and Venezuelan as well) makes the show relevant to me. NO, I'm not Dominican, but comparing everything that is traditionally Dominican to common things that my family does, I just call it "Country People Common Ground."
